The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will not be subject to the Right to Information (RTI) Act provisions according to the latest National Sports Governance Bill, 2025.
Under the proposed law, only certain sports bodies will be covered by RTI provisions. This decision comes despite recommendations from the Supreme Court, Law Commission and Central Information Commission.
