, Meteorite older than Earth hits home, Sahara Groundwater

A meteorite, older than Earth itself, crashed into a house in Georgia, USA. The meteorite, named the McDonough meteorite, hit a man’s roof in Henry County. Multiple fragments that struck the building were collected by scientists for analysis. Scott Harris, a geologist at the University of Georgia, said this particular meteorite is estimated to be around 4.56 billion years old, which means it formed at the same time as the solar system itself.
